Teaching the Four Modes of Writing (Descriptive, Narrative, Persuasive, Expository) LIMITED

Knowing how to blend writing from the different modes (Descriptive, Narrative, Argumentative, and Expository) is an essential skill for not only the MAP & EOC but for life. This session will take you through several writing activities that you can take back and use with your students. Each can be differentiated for any grade or skill level.

Kelly has taught 7th grade through graduate level ELA courses over her 28 years of teaching. She is currently an Instructional Coach with the SJSD. Integrating thinking through writing across the curriculum has been a passion.
