Do you feel like a Canvas beginner? You see too many options and are not sure how to fit it into your teaching? Maybe you joined the district and have not had a PD session about Canvas yet. This session will go through some basic course setup, content creation, grading, and class implementation strategies. Time will be set aside to answer your questions.
Canvas does not seem so new anymore. You feel comfortable making assignments and quizzes, have created content, and are comfortable helping others learn those same things. Now what? This session will look at some intermediate features to help you Level-Up your Canvas course: Mastery Paths, Question/Item Banks, and Canvas’s version of EdPuzzle. We will also explore some new features of Canvas. Enhanced Rubrics and Discussion Checkpoints create some new options for assessing students, while the upcoming Blocks Editor may change how you create content.
